My Studio... I think the first thing you notice when you enter my studio is the gorgeous smell. I have bundles of sage on the shelf, a pile of Palo Santo and my little oil burner with a collection of Essential Oils (Passion by InEssence is my favorite). The second thing you notice is the art on the walls, lots of it, mostly my own paintings and drawings, but I have several by other artists including Jassy Watson and Autumn Skye Art, and artworks, cards and letters from beautiful customers.
I have a small antique timber desk where I spend my time editing photographs and keeping the shop and website up to date. Its fairly neat, I keep my pens in a handmade stoneware jug, and I have a little shelf which holds a few favorite crystals, a ceramic palmistry hand and a deck of tarot cards (The Wild Unknown by Kim Krans).
The clay workbench and the stringing/beading workbench - two huge spaces with a huge window, where I spend most of my time mixing my special blend of clay, patina and colors. This is where it all happens. I have natural sunlight streaming in, and music playing (I still play vinyl records), there are crystals everywhere, all shapes and sizes, and the only clear space I have on my workbench is when I pick my coffee cup up!
